Susanne Ewerlöf (b. 1981, Sweden) is based in Stockholm, currently an Art Project Manager at Stockholm Region working with the project Konstväxlingar – temporary art exhibitions in the Stockholm Metro. Until recently she was a curator working with exhibitions and public programs at Fullersta Gård Art Centre. Together with Curatorial Program for Research (NYC) she is also developing various exchange projects and residencies for artists and curators in the Nordic sphere as well as the Americas. Commissioned by Verkstad konsthall she is exploring the notion of Speculation through a series of events and projects 2020-2021. Previous independent projects have had a focus on Cultural Heritage and Identity and she has delved into these issues in the exhibition Becoming by Recalling (Linköping, Sweden 2015) and the projects IdentityLab (Sweden/Turkey 2016) and Exchanging Notes (Sweden/Turkey/Ukraine 2016).


Ewerlöf was the founder, Director and board member of Verkstad Konsthall in Norrköping until 2016. She has also managed project such as the international Artist-in-Residence programme Norrköping Air (2013-2015) and been an exhibition curator at Norrköping Art Museum (2012-2014). She was the curator and producer of the Museum’s centennial exhibition Acting in the City (2013). She is an alumna of the Curatorial Program for Research (Eastern Europe 2016) as well as Residency Unlimited (NYC, 2015). Currently she is a part time student at the MRes Curatorial/Knowledge Programme at Goldsmiths University, holds MA and a BA degrees in Culture and Media from Linköping University, an MA Degree in Curating from Stockholm University and has studied Art History (60 credits) at Stockholm University.
